I now have a lot of knowledge about how to make a successful yearbook page.  With all that I have learned, I think that the yearbook page that I will be creating will be fabulous now that I know what not to do. A couple of these tips that I will definitely use while making this page are I will try hard not to over crowd my work so that it doesn't looks too busy and, I won't make it boring but I also won't overdo it.  I can't wait for the yearbook to be complete because so far it sounds like it is going to be amazing!

  • Collect your ingredients (knife, plate, bread, etc.)

  • Take the bag of bread

  • Take the elastic off of the bag of bread

  • Take 2 slices of bread out of the bag

  • Place the bread on the plate in front of you.

  • Lay them next to each other (side by side)

  • Leave them there

  • Open the lid of the jar with the jam inside by unscrewing the lid

  • Put the lid of the jam down

  • Get your knife and hold onto the handle the with the sharp side of the blade pointing down

  • Take however much jam you want out of the jar with the knife

  • Bring the knife over to the bread

  • Place the jam on the bread

  • Turn the knife so that the blade is pointing sideways

  • Using the knife, spread the jam evenly onto the bread

  • Take the piece of bread with jam on it and put the jam onto the other piece of jam (make sure your corners of the 2 pieces of bread are together)

  • Take your knife and cut the sandwich into 2 triangles by moving the knife back and forth (with pressure on the knife) from one corner to the corner on the other side of the bread (diagonally)

This is my design for the Year Book cover.  I love how I painted Cedar School.  I think it is creative how Cedar goes from a light colour (yellow) to a darker colour (red) and School is the opposite going from dark (red) to light (yellow).  I am also proud of my my idea of the banner going around the Earth with International on it.  I am proud of my work although it might not make the cover because there are some extremely awesome designs.

As shown in the bottom left corner, I have subscribed these six sites because they are all very different and very useful.  National Geographic and Discovery I have added because they are interesting to read/learn about multiple interesting topics.  I have also added BBC News because it is useful learning about what is happening around us in the world.  A great website if you enjoy cooking is Epicurious.  They have some tasty recipes.  Finally, Britanica is a great online encyclopedia.  I think that having Google Reader it will save me time finding these amazing sites and it is entertaining reading the items in my Inbox.  Another great thing about Google Reader is that it is very easy to access.  All you do is open any of your Google windows (Docs., Gmail, Calendar, etc). Then, click "more" at the top of your page and then find reader in the list that comes up.
