This term in art we have been closely studying the art elements(value, texture, colour, shape, line and space).  My personal favourite of these seven is texture because you can get extremely creative.with it.  Also, you can make it so that you can actually feel the texture or just make it visual.  In art we have also created positive and negative shapes.  I enjoyed making unique designs with a mirror copy on the other side of the paper.  It was cool how we only needed to cut one of the sheets.  Recently, we have been analysing paintings by other artists. In the analyses we have been searching for the elements.  In future art classes I would like to involve modeling clay and other materials and fashion/clothes designing.  This has been a great productive first term.

I created this picture using only dots.  This was challenging yet loads of fun.  I made the fruit and the bowl of only the primary colours.  I put different coloured dots to create new colours for example the pear.  The pear is made up of blue and yellow dots except, it looks like it's green.  The other colours that I used are orange for the background and brown for the table.  I enjoyed making my magnificent piece of art.
